Ice Bucket
Wood, Brass, Silver, Parchment
Manufactured by Aldo Tura Ateliers, Milano, Italy, 1950-60s
The techniques used in creating this piece involve goatskin parchment, a material closely associated with Aldo Tura’s distinctive aesthetic.
The parchment is treated and finished achieving its natural, textured appearance coating a wooden bucket, while brass is used for the decorative and functional accents, the bucket interior is in silver.
Aldo Tura’s work in the 1950s and 1960s often featured brass hardware, ranging from medieval to baroque styles, adding an elevated and exquisite Italian touch in the design.
Bucket in very good condition, with few signs of oxidation on the brass that adds a beautiful patina and charm to the piece.
