Early 20th century caviar bowl in vermeil sphere shape, circa. 1910s

Vermeil means a high quality pure or sterling silver plated with a thin layer of gold.

Chiselled with horizontal stripes, resting on four ball feet. The half-sphere lid opening by a sliding system held by two rods and chains.

This piece wearing prestigious Fabergé hallmarks.

In very good condition, some shocks and few visible small scratches.
