De Coene et Frères was a Belgian furniture manufacturing company that operated from 1889 until the early 1970s. The company was founded by Jules and Auguste De Coene, who were both trained as carpenters and had a passion for woodworking. De Coene Has been manufacturing high standard furniture pieces and highly famous for its Art-Deco.  The De Coene pieces became highly collectable made by a refined hand-work, and high standard materials.

 

De Coene Frères was also involved in a number of high-profile architectural projects, including the interior design of the Belgian Pavilion at the 1939 World's Fair in New York City. They also produced furniture for the ocean liner SS Normandie, which was considered one of the most luxurious ships of its time, extended to a collaboration with Jean Michel Frank.

 

In very good condition, no scratches, so major signs of wear.
