Aldo Londi Set of Five Rimini Blue Vases for Bitossi, Italy, 1959

Aldo Londi’s ceramics are the result of an assiduous study and ongoing experimentation with different materials, colours and techniques. All of which has become even more prolific, thanks to the help of the increasingly more advanced research of the chemical laboratory, Colorificio Colorobbia, incorporated in 1947 by the Bitossi family.

It is no coincidence that the name chosen for this series was "Rimini Blue", which at that time was a famous resort of the Italian bien vivre celebrated in famous Italian pop songs in vogue in 1959 such as "Nel blu dipinto di blu (Volare)" by Domenico Modugno and "Ricordati di Rimini".

We also dispose of a table lamp, please check "floor-table lamps".

All pieces are authentic from 1960s,  all signed and enumerated.
