In 1956 France made considerable conceptual and technical progress, the first houses and furniture were presented, made out of plastic/synthetic materias.

In 1965 synthetic products were mass produced and commercialised.

The Jean-Benjamin Maneval´s "Boulles 6 Coques" (Six-Shell Buble-House) that was first presented at the Salon Des Arts Menagérs in 1956. The Bubble-House started to be produced in 1968 to 1970 by the Company "Batiplastic", and distribuited / sold by "Mobilier de France" catalogue.

Some furniture pieces as lounge chairs and table were designed for the house,  as the "Orion" tables, That was designed in two versions, round and rectangular.
