Large textured ice glass flush mount light fixture by German manufacturer Hillebrand with Murano Glass, circa 1970. The huge round glass dish is made of 'Frit' glass. A technique involving hundreds of tiny glass shards which are molded into the glass during its manufacture, giving the piece a heavy ice appearance which refracts the light, filling a room with a soft, warm and welcoming glow.
