Made-to-Order Sofa

This sofa was built for a "Richard Neutra (1892-1970)" Villa in Berlin Dahlem in the 1950s.

This sofa consists of two pieces of 150cm wooden structure. The seat is supported by a first layer of steel sinuous spring, a row of wave spring; covered with foam, a layer of raw cotton, coated with a light blue cotton upholstery.

From a private provenance. This sofa was specially made and made for modernist villa in Berlin Dahlem. 

Upholstery with visible slight fading on the armrests and on a few seat cushions.
