This two-seater sofa consists of a wooden structure with walnut legs, coated with the original "yellowish-pearl" silk and cotton velvet.
Gio Ponti was the most visionary Italian Designer-Decorator- Architect of all time. Well known for his elegance and simplicity of modern-forms and light-spacious interiors.
Casa e Giardino, a prominent Italian label that partnered with visionary designers like Gio Ponti and Lio Carminati.
While not a traditional manufacturer in it sense, Casa e Giardino was a label-distributor associated with high-quality Italian design, particularly during the 1930s and 1940s.
The upholstery and sofa stability is in excellent original condition for it age.
