Sculptural bonsai coffee table in solid brass with a clear glass top. 

These coffe tables and Daro fossil table lamps are generally attributed to the famous Belgium artist Willy Daro (Les Nouveaux Ateliers Willy Daro SPRL, Brussels, Belgium), but in the seventies also several companies produced these tables and lamps. Often made in Italy, France and Belgium.

The Willy Daro website no longer exists. The company itself ended business in 1987.
