Model K1000 made from solid carrara marble and designed by  Frans Hero and Karl Odermatt for Ronald Schmitt, 1971. The thick oval glass top lays loose on the marble base only held in to place by a chromed metal lip which gives this table the gravity defying feeling.

Since its founding in 1958,Ronal Schmitt the long-established company has remained true to its headquarters in Eberbach, not far from Heidelberg. Here an experienced team of more than 70 employees produces all products in high-quality processing. All made in Germany.

This table is great vintage condition.
