This table consists of a cement square cube coated with South African slate geometric plates, 1.05cm thick glass top held by a brass "x" shaped structure.
South African slate stones are natural fine-grained metamorphic rock that needs millions of years for its formation.
Artedi was an Italian maker known for its Post Modern designs (70s-80s), particularly tables featuring a distinctive combination of glass, natural stone, and metal accents like brass or chrome. Most famous for its use of high quality material combined in a single piece. The company have collaborated with renowned designers such as Vico Magistretti. The company no longer exist.
