Manufactured by Vario Pur Schewedt Möbelkombinat WI-WE-WA, in the ephemeral DDR / GDR. 1972.

The country doesn't any longer exist. It has a brief history from 1949 to 1990, and the factory also no longer exist. Today, some of DDR "Communist Design" became highly collectible museum pieces.

This table was designed to be used as a dining or coffee table.

With a simple screw in between, it is possible to be dismantled in three parts.
