This Architectural postmodern armchair / lounge chair consists of a stainless steel frame (Edelstahlkonstruktion) covered with long-lasting polyurethane foam. Upholstery in high-quality leather, typically hand-processed, reflecting De Sede’s uncompromising quality standards.
The Leather used by De Sede have it provenance from the Swiss and Italian Alps.
Paolo Piva was an Italian architect, designer, and artist. Piva studied architecture under the professor Carlo Scarpa in Venice.
Piva designed for De Sede primarily in the 1980s, with one of his notable pieces, the DS-017 and DS 206/11, being created in 1989. His collaboration with De Sede appears to have been concentrated in the 1980s.
