It consists of a pine structure bonded with thick cotton webbing.
Van Beuren was a Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (Bauhaus Movement) apprentice before start in Mexico in the 1930s and establishing his company Domus shortly. Beuren quickly became a formative member of the Mexican Modernist movement and part of the Latin America legendary designers.
Set in very good condition overall
Provenance from a Mexican family that has served as Diplomats in Belgium.
