Set of Eight Swivel Lounge / Dining Chairs

Manufactured by VEB Metallwaren Naumburg, DDR / GDR, 1960s 

Classified as historical deign, this set was exclusively designed for the "Interflug" (East German Airlines, 1963-1991) lounge for the Berlin Schönefeld airport, middle 1960s.

It consists of a steel swivel leg attached to a wooden frame holding 12 tempered steel wire spring core system, covered with foam, cotton, and coated with a green blended textured-polyester upholstery.

The set is in very good all original condition. Stamped branded "Interflug, VEB Mobelwerk, Berlin" and serial numbered.

Provenance from the old Berlin Schönefeld Airport located in the east part of Berlin.
