Pair of Coconut Chairs

Designed in 1955 for Herman Miller, USA. Vitra Edition, 1980s.

It consists of a white lacquered aluminium shell in sconce shaped, filled with polyester foam, and brown leather upholstered with steel-chromed legs.

A slice of comfort that encourages movement.

With the Marshmallow sofa and the Coconut chair, George Nelson brought modernism to American furniture, to say nothing of fun, with designs like the Coconut Chair.
